JFS Auxiliary is a self-governing body operating under the auspices of JFS of the Desert.  Members are concerned local residents supporting the important work of the Jewish Family Services by fundraising, assisting in programs for isolated seniors, and responding to the needs of the community JFS serves. 

Auxiliary activities include:

Annual Fundraising Event

Plan an entertaining and informative live event. Members are responsible for purchasing/selling 6 event tickets.

COVID-19 Giving Circle

Helps support families economically devastated by the pandemic.

Holiday Gift Giving 

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Auxiliary goes to support JFS’s annual Holiday Gift Giving Program.

Holocaust Survivor (Cafe Europa) Monthly and Special Events

Members plan programs and staff social events for this very special group.

Emergency Assistance Program

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Auxiliary support this vital program which offers emergency support to individuals and families in need throughout the Desert.

Members also enjoy social activities while raising awareness of JFS services and programs in the community.
